Nurses
The nursing team offer a range of services such as chronic disease management (including heart disease, diabetes, respiratory and mental health conditions and epilepsy). In addition they provide vaccinations, childhood immunisations, wound care and treatment, ear syringing, family planning, cervical smears and healthy lifestyle advice.To book an appointment please contact reception.

Medical and Nursing Students
We also have medical, nursing and other healthcare students attached to the practice for short periods. If you do not wish to have the student present, please inform the reception staff prior to being seen.
Healthcare Assistants
Healthcare Assistants offer phlebotomy (blood samples), urine samples, ECGs, blood pressure readings, new patient checks, provide patient care during minor surgery and assist the nursing team in a range of tasks. To book an appointment please contact reception.

Administration
We have an Administrative Team which includes three medical secretaries who are available to help with any queries you may have when your GP refers you to hospital, or other services such as physiotherapy.
In addition we have an IT Manager, IT Support Administrator, Quality Officer and Administrative Staff.
Reception
All members of the reception team are trained in Healthcare Navigation and Signposting

Attached Staff
We have district nurses, a frailty team, health visitors, social workers, and social prescribers, all attached to the practice supporting the practice team.
Pharmacists
A Clinical Pharmacist holds a prescribing qualification and supports the GP and Dispensary Team. We have 3 clinical pharmacists based at our practice. They can deal with medicine queries that you may have. Our Receptionists may signpost you to our Clinical Pharmacist if they feel they can deal with your query.

Michelle is registered with the GPhC and works with a longstanding team of qualified dispensers and support staff including a delivery driver.
